Feeling Festive

Feeling Festive!!!

It can be hard to appreciate Christmas sometimes. The irritation when you hear christmas pop songs at October, where did all those months go? The earlier Christmas comes the more unfestive I get . This year I felt I was becoming a bit of a Scrooge, not in that I’m being greedy just that I’m not really in the festive spirit, for example when I started getting christmas cards I was tempted to throw them out because they just clutter up your lives. I was becoming to hate winter, the cold dark nights and the chapped lips and my short circulation.

But then I came home yesterday and it was so cold and on my ipod I had Lisa Ono’s acoustic version of ‘Jingle Bell Rock’ playing all along my street there were brightly coloured christmas lights and the family’s sat inside eating dinner. It was perfect, it completely made up for all the early pop/ christmas songs. Maybe if we stopped trying to have to much of a good thing we’ll all enjoy Christmas a tiny bit more?

My Say

The world is a beautiful place filled with beautiful ambitious people. Follow your dreams and remember that you need to work hard to achieve them. When you do be grateful for getting there and those who helped you get there. It doesn't matter where you come from or what you look like nothing can stop you following your dreams!
